This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students love learning and coming to school. My students tell the best stories and always make me laugh. What makes them special is that they are motivated to be successful and work hard to achieve their goals.
The materials will help make a difference with my students being to be organized and communicate with their parents about their academic successes.
The binder will be a way for the students to show their parents what they need to practice to reach their goals. In the sheet protectors, they will have alphabet charts, number charts, sight word lists, etc. The folders will be a place for students to put the little books that they read in class so they can read to their parents. The pencil pouch will be a place to store their notes and pencils.
Students being organized helps them become accountable for their own learning.
