Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a seating organizer will help students to store their school materials and take charge of their learning and make the choices that best works for them. During independent reading, writing, and or math the students can freely access their materials without having to much clutter on their table. I have provided a basket to store their binder, notebooks and materials but because of the weight it easily tips over and the students are constantly having to bend down to put it all back in their basket. It is getting to be frustrating. Having these fabric chair holders students can easily put the heavier stuff in the back pocket of their chair and feel at ease that they won't be picking up something of their's off the floor.
