My Project

Hey y'all! My name is Mckenzie Stapp, and I am a first year Inclusion teacher. I graduated in early December 2021 and accepted a position that started in January 2022. I did not have time to go in and assess what I would need for my classroom. Being a Resource teacher, I only see a small number of students each day (co-teaching ROCKS!). The biggest needs I have for my classroom are storage/organization and flexible seating. Since I go into Gen. Ed. classes for a majority of the day, I have a small classroom. Planning and setting up a tiny space has been difficult this semester- think about being stuffed in a cubical in an office and sharing it with 7 other people. It is difficult to fund storage and flexible seating to make the learning environment comfortable and engaging. Any storage, organization, tips, or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
