My Students

I am super excited to have joined the fourth-grade team at SES. Most importantly, I am thrilled to be a fourth-grade teacher and am enjoying a year filled with learning, adventures, and fun.

I am happy to be a member of a community that is supportive and proud of where they are from.

I am lucky to be teaching at a unique school where students grow up with small-town experiences, and where classmates begin to feel like family—spending 4K-12th grade together.

When I'm not teaching, I am coaching after school. I have coached track & field and am the head volleyball coach at SES. Most students at SES participate in sports year-round since there are less than 100 students in the high school. I am proud to be a coach for a sport I feel passionate about and a person that my athletes can count on each day.

My Project

Clipboards are a great way to transfer learning to any environment. My class has been spending more time out of their seats. Clipboards will help them work on the floor or even outside when it's warmer out! This also gives my students a break from masks when we learn outside. Outside, the clipboards will hold their papers down so they can't blow away. The clipboard storage racks will give our students a space to put their clipboards when they're done using them, keeping our classroom clean and organized. An organized classroom is the best learning environment!
