This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a first grade teacher who is ready to help my little scholars get organize. I am expecting to have 20 students in my class for the next school year but as the ELD teacher and inclusion classroom, I anticipate new enrollments to join my fantastic crew.
I love teaching first graders at my school because they are so energetic, loving, and inquisitive.
Teaching first graders brings me joy and excitement because they are eager to learn, compassionate to each other, and full of energy!
My Project
I believe if you want to instill strong work ethic in children, you must teach teach them to be responsible. Being able to provide each student with their very own chair pocket storage chart and a classroom pocket storage chart for their headphones, I will help them learn to organize and take care of their materials and school supplies.

This quote from Denis E. Waitley is special to me. I want my students to be responsible in my classroom. I hope that in teaching them how to take care of their materials, I will be providing them a life skill that they will continue throughout their lives.
