This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom mailbox is a great tool to teach routine and keep us organized in an efficient way. Every morning, students will empty out their take-home folders and turn in assignments and signed notes from home. Throughout the day,documents that need to go between school and home will be placed in their individual cubby for students to collect. This will include completed student work, papers that need signatures, school notices, and daily homework.
This mailbox will be a fun way for students to expand their independence and learn responsibility all while getting papers where they need to go in a structured manner.
Kids love routine and feeling independent. This mailbox will be the perfect way to cultivate that in children!
