This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my dual language 1st Grade classroom, we have so many books, materials and papers that we use. It is critical for my students to practice the art of putting things where they belong and keeping themselves organized. This both makes it easier for the flow of the classroom, but is also a life-long skill that will benefit them in the future.

With the help of our thermal printer and label maker, my students will become more organized and independent when it comes to staying organized!

A thermal printer will allow everything to be easily labeled to reinforce the correct place for objects around our classroom. I also will use it to help color code workbooks, folders, and notebooks by subject to visually make it easier for students to grab the appropriate item in a more timely manner.
