My Students

You know that feeling you get when all of you've cleaned and organized your desk at work? It feels fabulous to look around and know you're ready for anything coming your way! I want my second graders to have the tools they need to stay organized too!

Bungalow 20, as we like to call ourselves, is an incredibly special class.

Our classroom is rich with diversity. 60% of students in my classroom are English Language Learners. 5 different languages are spoken in our class. Additionally, 80% of students in our class qualify for free and reduced lunch. Despite the challenges the students in my classroom face, they are a positive and resilient group. Each day they are excited to come to school and to learn.

My Project

Due to lack of organizational materials in my classroom, students currently only have their desks to store their materials. With kiddos studying five different subjects in a day, that's a lot of stuff to keep track of! Our math curriculum is heavy on materials. The Sort & Store Organizers are the perfect size to hold all of their materials in an organized way, and they'll last for years to come! Additionally, my students engage in math games daily. The small pocket charts and tabletop stand will enable students to play the games easily and keep game materials organized. The less time for clean up, the more time we have for learning and fun!

Thank you so much for considering donating to my second grade classroom!

I'm positive these materials will help and encourage my students to stay organized and take pride in their materials!
