Let's Get Moving!

Help me give my students more options for gross motor activities. Our class doesn't have access to playground equipment. By purchasing items such as scooters and scooter-boards our preschool students can practice movement skills in fun ways.

My Project

Using items such as scooters and scoot-boards helps build coordination skills and fosters the body's ability to balance. Utilizing helmets adds to lessons about safety and the importance of caring for one's self.

Part of developing healthy lifestyle habits includes introducing fun ways to move your body.

Balls, hula hoops, and hopscotch offer means to explore how our bodies move and strengthen muscles.

The folding cart will allow teachers to easily move items to an appropriate play area while keeping hands free to help children during transitions.

Because our class lacks access to age-appropriate playground equipment, having access to fun and safe exercise alternatives is crucial to the development of our students' young bodies.
