My second graders are creative, energetic, and awesome! They have spent the last several months at home with family and are in need of some time outside with friends where they can burn off some energy, express their creativity physically, develop healthy exercise habits, and strengthen their minds and bodies at the same time!
My Project
With these amazing resources, my students will develop their gross motor skills like jumping, throwing, and catching while simultaneously improving their cardiovascular health. They will work together to motivate and encourage each other in game-like practice using the ball and flying discs, circuit training using the activity mats and jump ropes, and student-created activities using all of the resources in creative ways.
Thanks to your kindness, my students will experience engaging PE lessons that help them develop a love of physical activity that lasts far beyond this year.
After honing their skills with my support, they will get to lead their peers through circuits and workouts they have created incorporating these resources.
