My Students
My classroom is in a high poverty and high risk area. We struggle to provide everything that our students need. The students work very hard, and I feel that they deserve to have everything that they can to help them learn.
It is my goal and the goal of my school to prove to our students that they are worthy of everything that they need to learn.
It is my hope that through the donations given, my students will see that there are many people that care about their learning, not just the people around them. These children are the future, and they deserve every opportunity to be the very best that they can.
My Project
My students have only blacktop in which to complete their PE. This is boring and not very fun. We lack common PE equipment. These items will help engage my students in Physical Education by making it fun. They will be able to show off skills that they haven't shown before and this will build up their confidence.
With more confidence they will try harder in class and will take a chance when answering questions.
Also by being engaged in the PE activities they will feel better and their bodies will be stronger. This will help keep away illness and boost our attendance.
