Let's Get Moving! PE Equipment for Mrs. Baxter's Class!
Help me give my students some great Physical Education equipment to get them up and moving each day! Colorful cones, hula hoops, jump ropes and tennis balls will help us achieve our daily required P.E. minutes!

My Students
I currently have 28 students. They are a mix of many different ethnic backgrounds and income levels. While the parents are very supportive of the classroom, it is often difficult to get monetary donations. We are a mid to low income school, yet do not qualify for Title I funds.
My students love to come to school each day and enjoy learning about everything.
We work hard each day on learning math, reading, writing, social studies and science. Our resources are limited, but we make due with what we have.
Kindness counts in our room! We honor our Character Traits and have an atmosphere of respect and integrity in our room. Learning is our primary goal, but we do it with a lot of fun!!
My Project
Physical Education is so important for our youth, but is often forgotten in teachers' lesson plans each week. Teachers often lack the important equipment needed to engage their students in fun, exciting lessons. With brand new hula hoops, tennis balls, and jump ropes along with the exercise dots, my students will be so excited to head out to PE each and every day! No longer will I hear the "Oh no's!" from my students, I will only hear "Oh Ya's!"
So many of our students go home each day and sit in front of the TV or play video games.
I think it's so important that we get them up and moving as much as possible. Making physical education a top priority in my curriculum will benefit my students' health and mental well being! This new equipment is the first step in creating healthy students!
