My students attend a high performing, yet low income school located in California.
They are always striving to succeed and become leaders in their own way. Our school works hard at creating a sense of community between teachers, students, and parents.
My Project
With the additional new playground balls, my students will be able to play various recess games instead of being restricted to just one area. They will also have the opportunity to strengthen various motor skills.
The board games will allow the students to synergize and facilitate social interaction with one another. These games are especially needed since our school is going through major school construction and there are times when we need to stay indoors during recess.
Our school continues to be affected by district budget matters and makes it difficult to purchase desperately needed items to help enhance social and physical interaction.
