Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m preparing to welcome a brand-new group of students this upcoming school year. While I haven’t met them yet, I know they’ll bring energy, curiosity, and a wide range of personalities, interests, and needs. My goal is to create a learning environment that supports both their academic growth and their social-emotional well-being from the very beginning.
The balls and catch game will give students the opportunity to stay active, build teamwork skills, and enjoy much-needed movement breaks during recess and field days.
These experiences are essential for helping students recharge and return to class ready to focus and learn.
Inside the classroom, the math workbooks and additional supplies will help me set up a welcoming, organized space that encourages creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. With your support, I’ll be able to start the year strong and give my new students the tools they need to thrive.
