This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We love to learn, but a little extra motivation really keeps us going!
I have a charming group of kindergarten students who are eager to learn.
I teach at a Title 1 school in California where funds are limited. Half of my students are English Language Learners. My students are kind and respectful. I am confident that they will appreciate and take care of the materials they receive. These children need every opportunity I can provide to help them be successful lifelong learners.
My Project
We have recognition bulletin boards in our classroom for the students when they learn their letters, numbers, and sight words. I would like to give my students a little something extra when they master these skills. I believe the special pencils or stickers will provide the extra incentive needed for the students to learn these important kindergarten skills. My students respond well to positive recognition for all of their hard work.
I work very hard to make every student in my class feel special.
Unfortunately because of budget cuts, we did not receive any funds to purchase these additional materials. I would like to recognize the success of my students and encourage them to always do their best.
