My Students
My students are amazing little beings. They love to learn and explore through play. They are hard working and fun. They come from low income homes and the TLC offered at our school is just what they need to start their education on the right foot.
These students come from families where they don't have access to arts and crafts with an unlimited supply.
They are discouraged from wasting tape and paper. Here, we encourage the children to be creative and use the items to tell a story.
My Project
Our students enjoy creating masterpieces to hang on our wall. They love to use tape without a limit on the amount that they can use. They enjoy making pictures of people in their lives, monsters, etc.
Students need more tactile experiences now because technology has taken over.
Parents don't want the mess in their home when they can simply use an iPad or some other type of device to entertain their children.
Please consider this project. It is so important for our students to learn to use their imaginations and then their language. They dictate to us what they are making and create stories. These are very important steps to building language and it is also the beginning stages of learning to write.
