This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 10th graders are so happy to be back on campus and are eager to learn! This year has been amazing so far, and I'm excited to find out how much we can grow this year. I have 120 sophomores and they are truly some stellar kiddos.
English is all about reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and my students are already working so hard to master these domains!
My Project
I was out of the classroom for several years, and my classroom library did not survive. I am hoping to rebuild my library with new and exciting titles that make students want to read. This project will help me do that and will encourage some of my more reluctant readers to get their noses into a book.
I want the books in my classroom to have characters as vibrant and diverse as the students in my classroom!
I want my students to have the option to read the texts they like and offer up fun and diverse titles.
