This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a low income neighborhood. I have students from Afghanistan and the Ukraine. My goal, as a teacher, is to provide an environment that provides "better" things for my students. A living center with a new kitchen is just what we need as our current kitchen is falling apart. This area of the classroom provides creativity as the students pretend it is a home, a restaurant, a day care center, and a hospital/doctor office. Their little minds amaze me with what they will come up next for this area! Please help give my students this opportunity for growth!
