it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This spring we plan to incubate and witness live chicks hatching in the classroom!
Help me give my students some “EGG”citement.
Last year, we successfully incubated 12 chicks with the help of a borrowed incubator. This initiative was a big success and the students couldn't wait to get to school to see what was happening with the chicks! Not only did this project benefit our class, but it also allowed us to share the joy with other classes in the school. Our students are thrilled about hatching their chicks this year, so we aim to recreate last year's triumph by acquiring the necessary materials.
To expand our chick-hatching program, we intend to purchase a new incubator to ensure that the temperature is consistent throughout the incubation period. The incubator we selected is clear and will allow multiple students to view at once. We also plan to use the candling light and books to teach students throughout the egg hatching process.
