This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help fund books for our students to read and participate in our school's Battle of the Books! Teachers create a Battle Book List for students to read and study from throughout the year. At the end of the year, we have a Battle of the Books at school. Parents are invited and watch student-teams participate by answering comprehension questions about the Battle Books. We've created a list, with a variety of book levels, so students regardless of their reading level can all participate, enjoy, and get excited for reading! Let's read!
