Help me give my students individual sensory and dramatic play materials to help prevent the spread of germs in the classroom. Mold Play Sensory Sand Set will be used to allow children to have their own sensory materials.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach developmentally delayed preschoolers and the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted my student's social skills. Many of the children coming to my class have had limited opportunities to play and interact with their peers due to the health concerns of the coronavirus.
Social skills play an important role in early childhood development and learning.
The sensory tubs, play dough, and slime will help the students to regulate their emotions by providing calming strategies that they can access throughout the day.
The magnet toys and dress-up materials will promote sharing, taking turns and playing pretend with their peers. This will help build those social skills that many of these children have not been able to develop.
