This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of energetic, fun-loving, eager to learn 4 year olds. For this class project, “Let’s Get Dramatic About Learning In Pre-K,” I am asking for a play refrigerator for our dramatic play center. This will make a difference in my students’ learning by helping them build their social language as they play. It will also help with learning conflict resolution, helping children to learn creative problem-solving skills alongside their peers.
This new addition to our dramatic play center will help my young learners explore self-empowerment, allowing kids the opportunity to make choices, act out their feelings, and find a new connection to themselves.
Finally, these materials will help the kids express themselves in different ways, whether playing a role or playing as themselves.
