My Project
I am hoping to add a writing station in my classroom using crayola twisted coloring pencils, highlighters, gel pens, filing system to organize their writing and illustrations. Students love to create stories at this age and having these fun things will give them the opportunity to explore writing in more ways.
Writing engages children's senses in open-ended thinking and supports the development of cognitive and multisensory skills; as children progress into elementary school and beyond, writing continues to provide opportunities for brain development, mastery, self-esteem and creativity.
These experiences lead to out of the box thinking and allow students to think more creatively with their writing as they grow!
