Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With such a rich intense learning schedule all day and every day, it's difficult to find time to just do an art lesson. Therefore, I try to incorporate art in many of my cross curriculum projects so that my students are not robbed of cultivating their creative side.
For many of my students that come from difficult family/home life, art is a great therapeutic tool for which they can express themselves.
For a child that struggles in math and reading, may thrive in art and design. It's important that they have a subject at school that they feel confident in. Arts and Crafts are such an amazing healing practice that helps each individual that participates in it.
