My Project
I am a General Education Third Grade teacher with ENL students learning alongside general education students.
Our school consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students within a low socioeconomic community.
My ENL students do not speak English, however, everyone knows that children best express themselves through art.
Children are creative! Can you imagine the joy that students who struggle to communicate and express themselves would experience by creating a one-of-a-kind project? Being able to do so would enable all students to tap into their crafty sides and become artists!
Markers, crayons, colored pencils and regular pencils would bring our students such joy, and give them the ability to create and express their ideas!
Help me avail my students the opportunity to be individuals and express themselves in their own individual way!
