My Students
The scholars in my fourth grade classroom have had a challenging year but have kept the most positive attitude through all the ups and downs of learning remotely. Many scholars are below the poverty line and our classroom is their opportunity to shine! They love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges, to work together in small groups and individually! The scholars have done amazing at learning to navigate a new app for submitting work, logging in and out of class virtually and completing work during asynchronous times.
I enjoy finding ways to continue to praise them while virtual and ways to help transition back to a safe classroom when we are able to return to in person learning.
This year has been unique and I am always looking for ways to reward them by providing a variety of ways to keep them engaged.
My Project
This project has a multitude of options. The circuit machine requested will allow students to get creative and crafty while celebrating their behavior and academic successes.
The circuit machine can be used to promote collaboration and encourage team work during group projects.
It can be used to personalize items that students need to help with cross contamination when we return to in person learning. Students can choose the color and type of font for their personalized labels. Student work can be displayed using the circuit machine as well.
While we are remote, the circuit will allow us to send fun notes and cute rewards for students that are staying engaged, working hard and meeting goals.
