Help me give my students counting and number recognition experiences with number puzzles, magnetic counting trays and translucent color cubes.

My Project

Students need a variety of ways to experience numbers and counting in the classroom. In prek students love to explore thru play and are learning new things at the same time. Number puzzles are great for recognizing and ordering numbers. The tickiT gem cubes tray are great for early math skills such as counting and patterning. These will be great to use with the light table. The number pegs are great for counting and number recogntion. I chose the magnetic numbers and games to use in centers and guided groups. The students will love playing the Bingo bear game which will enhance learning numbers and counting thru play. These items will benefit my classroom by providing several opportunities for students to count and recognize numbers.
