My Students

I teach a diverse group of 4-6 year old students. My kids are eager to learn and come to school ready to go each day.

Kindergarten kids are happy, funny and loving little people.

They typically love school, their friends and feel safe in the classroom.

With the new mandates coming regarding Covid-19 I would like to keep the environment comfortable and flexible for all of my students.

My Project

Covid-19 has changed all of our lives in various ways. I know that we will have to practice social distancing in the classroom and that means I will have to put several nonessential items (play kitchen, classroom library, etc) into storage. I have to do this to allow for student tables to be spaced 6 feet apart so that students are socially distanced and safe at all times.

The thought of little people sitting at tables all day is worrisome.

I know we will take breaks and do songs and dances or various exercises but I cannot give them a change of seating right now... unless I get help from you!

If this project is fully funded my class can have a variety of seating options such as wiggles seats, balance balls and chair bands. This will help us to stay in our areas and have an outlet for all the energy kinder kids have! Thank you!
