Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal is to transform our classroom into a welcoming and inclusive environment for students with sensory challenges. By implementing sensory-friendly tools and modifications, we can better support the diverse needs of the learners and foster a positive and comfortable learning environment. We are seeking donations to acquire the following sensory-friendly materials and resources: bean bags, neutral colored carpet, noise canceling headphones, and educational materials. Your generosity will directly impact the educational experience of our students, empowering them to thrive in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. It will also allow for a more supportive and inviting classroom environment which can set students up for success!
