My Students
My students live in a rural area and are a diverse group who strive to learn. Many of my students excel in or have an interest in science and technology. My students love hands-on activities and work well in groups coming up with ideas, bouncing processes off each other, and putting designs together.
They are eager to get their hands on the tools and equipment so that they can test their designs and theories.
They take advantage of classroom materials for use on my projects as well as for other classes occasionally. Many are seeking further education in the STEM field, while others wish to take their knowledge and pursue a place in the workforce.
My Project
The paper and note cards will fuel the students need for working on school assignments and activities. The erasable pens will allow the students to take notes in their binders and make sketches in their Engineering Notebooks.
With several broken pair of scissors, I think these electrician scissors will be tough enough for these STEM students to cut through their materials.
Having tools to handle the job is essential for completing class projects.
While the weather is changing, kids need a fighting chance to keep germs away. I feel like tissues and cleaning wipes are a great help, especially in a computer lab. These materials will defiantly go a long way towards academic achievements in my class.
