This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will use the insect kits to observe the life cycle of butterflies and ladybugs. They will observe ants working together to live and complete their tunnels.
Using the STEM kits will allow the students many opportunities to explore, build, think, and reason.
The students will learn how to work in teams and problem solve.
They are excited to use the STEM kits.
These skills are very beneficial throughout their lives and choosing future careers.
Watching students faces light up when they observe the insects in their environments and creating a project that required planning, thinking and reasoning is life changing.
