Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every morning, students walk into our school or join us virtually, ready to learn and get their days started!
Our classes are full of discussions, math, science, technology, and more!
This current school year has been an incredibly wild one!
My Project
As the weather gets warmer, our kids will be outside for their daily Movement breaks, a class period built into their schedules to get them outside for some fresh air and away from their chairs and desks.
We need fun things like: hacky sacks, dodgeballs, jumprope, and more to stay active and still have fun!
Hacky sacks and jumpropes can be used solo by students. They'll be able to challenge themselves and have fun competitions with one another. Dodgeballs and soccer balls can be used safely (we're still in a pandemic after all) as students will be using their legs and feet to play together so there'll be less contact with one another.
