This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work so hard to stay engaged and focus during my Math, Science and P.E. lessons, but I have noticed that on a growling stomach, it is very difficult to maintain their focus and energy. I don't know if my students ate the night before or had breakfast in the morning as they usually get to school right when the bell rings. Therefore, with this project , I hope to give my students what they need to push through. Being able to provide a fruit snack, granola bar or energy bar will for sure put a smile on my students face.
