it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Spring is coming! Help my students get dirty and start a school garden. We have a beautiful atrium that is a perfect space for an outdoor classroom. Our scholars love to be outside.
My first grade students would like to use the garden to grow different vegetables and flowers to attract pollinators.
These garden boxes, tools, and seeds will allow us to get started. Our life cycle unit is coming up soon! Having these materials will allow my students the hands-on experience of planting the seeds of several different vegetables and watching them grow. We can have many math and science lessons in the garden planning, measuring, planting, and harvesting our vegetables.
