This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Chavez High School students are hard-working students whose families care a lot about their success. They come from low socio-economic backgrounds, with almost every student qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Over 90 percent are Hispanic, and many of them will be the first person in their family to graduate from college.
Education develops our greatest abilities because in each of us there is a dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation.
I want to give our students the resources they need to keep them learning.
My Project
These materials will help me in class with my students as I will be able to provide them with notes and they will be able to have their own pens in order to follow the COVID guidelines and the rest of the material would help with several other items in the classroom. Many of these items will help with organization and make the classroom more stocked up with a few sticky notes and pens. I would really appreciate any help to fund this project thank you soo much for everything.
