Help me give my students a Lenovo Touch-Screen Chromebook to control the Parrot Mambo drones via Bluetooth technology. The drones will help them learn to code using block coding.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a wonderful community of thinkers, communicators, collaborators, and contributors. Each and every member of our faculty works to educate the whole child and improve the school community through various means. One very important example is our 23 raised bed garden beds. Our school garden utilizes all students to help prepare, plant, and maintain. In return, it provides fresh fruits and vegetables for our students and their families throughout the growing season.
Our students originate from at least 15 different countries and speak at least 6 different languages.
Ninety-seven percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Our school provides a safe place for students and a wealth of resources for families including clothing, food, and assistance with billing, housing, and medical care. It is an amazing place to grow and learn.
My Project
Drones are changing everything in our world! From pizza delivery to rescue operations to news coverage, drones are everywhere and they are making a difference.
My students need drones and a Chromebook to control them in order to prepare themselves for the job market of tomorrow.
According to fastcompany.com, in 2015 there were as many as 7 million jobs that required coding skills. They will use the Parrot Mambo drones and the Lenovo Chromebook to learn the basics of coding which will give them a head start on their peers. Just imagine: students who have so many obstacles to overcome ahead of others, who may not have those obstacles, competing for those coding jobs.
