This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We all know that sitting for long periods of time can be challenging for adults. Imagine you're an energetic 8-year-old trying to learn a new concept. Maybe it's multiplication, or how to find text evidence to support your thinking.

How about having a classroom where you can move to learning stations throughout the day?

You may come to the rug to follow along with your teacher as they model a new concept and ask you to try it on. Or maybe you move to a comfy corner with bean bag chairs to work on a math problem with a partner.

Help me give my students the tools needed for these opportunities. Having individual clipboards allows students the freedom to move throughout our flexible classroom and complete assignments.
