This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are just beginning their lifelong learning adventure when they enter my classroom. Some have experienced a PreK setting and some have not. These students, at 5 and 6 years old, are learning the skills needed to become successful in their future. About a third of our school qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch. The skills they learn in my classroom will build the foundation they need to succeed in various parts of their lives. They're fun, loving and delightful little kids!
My Project
These Let's Find Out magazine subscriptions will give each student their own copy of an excellent resource to use at school and at home. Each student will receive 32 different magazines with this subscription! Let’s Find Out features seasonal stories, games and easy reading passages for science, social studies and more. The students love the engaging lessons and web based games that reinforce skills we’re learning in school. They get to keep their copy and practice their reading skills at home. They learn so much from these magazines and love to share their knowledge with family and friends. They are fun resources that will keep my class engaged.
