My students need "Let's Find Out" and "Science Spin" magazine subscriptions for our littlest learners.

My Students
I have a group of twenty amazing four year-olds. We are located in a small rural district in northeastern Oklahoma. The majority of the schools in our district are Title I. Our community has a very high Native American population, as it is the home for nine Tribal Nations. Many of my students are experiencing being in a school setting for the first time. We are preparing them and building a foundation for them to continue to become successful scholars.
My Project
I remember when I was in elementary school and getting a weekly newspaper. I looked forward to getting to read it like an adult. We are asking for "Let's Find Out" so we can put reading materials in our students' hands and help strengthen our home school connection.
Getting "Let's Find Out" will be a way to enhance our learning.
We will be getting our own newspaper every week. We will use it to explore the world around us. The newspaper reaches topics such as apples, pumpkins, community helpers, dental health and many more! It also teaches early reading skills such as: letters, sounds and literacy skills.
We have also requested Science Spin which is an additional magazine that comes 8 times a year. It covers a complete science lesson and a STEM activity.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
