This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a former 2nd grade teacher and I recently moved to pre-k. I love these babies! They are so much fun! Their innocence makes their humor simply adorable. Their energy and enthusiasm for anything and everything gives me such an amazing feeling. Teaching them reminds me of how precious life is. Unfortunately I am finding that many of these "littles" don't know how to self regulate their emotions.

My teaching style focuses a lot on social skills and effective emotion management, so I believe that the items I am asking for will help me create a cozy little calming corner for these adorable 4 year olds.
