This project is fully funded

I currently teach kindergarten in a high needs,Ttitle 1, focus school. The students come to school ready to learn but lack the resources to succeed because of funding and community resources.

We try do a lot of exploring in Science and Social Studies. With the lack of supplies this school year, exploring is very minimal this year. We use what we can to help our students explore and learn a lot of concepts in science and social studies.

The resources needed will help to support my science and social studies curriculum. The Let's Find Out books, the life cycle of a butterfly and life cycle of a plant pocket charts, season theme book set, and all about me theme book set will help to really engage students and hook them in on a certain science/social studies concept. Having additional resources in the areas of science and/or social studies will help students grow a love and passion for it. Incorporating literacy into science and social studies will help boost students literacy development and the additional theme books will help students with the literacy and reading skills.

Your help will ensure that my students can really grow a love for science and social studies. You will make it possible for my students to have additional resources that they can take home and share with their parents and family. I want my students to become interested in science and social studies since these subjects are a valuable part of history and education.
