Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a really nice school, where most of my students are Hispanic. I´m teaching 2nd & 3rd grade bilingual (Spanish component). Most of my students are native Spanish speakers. I´m trying to do my best to teach the to read and write in Spanish, so they can become a truly bilingual students.
I would love to have some extra seats in my class.
I don´t have enough seats when we do centers.
Also, I would like to say how motivating boogie boards are for my students. We use them everyday in math (we practice additions, sustractions, time,..) and writing (we practice phonics, spelling...). The ones we already have are getting old and are broken, so I don´t have enough for all my students. I know they´ll be really happy to have new ones.
