This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we lead up to the end of a very unique school year, my students could use a little extra help staying focused and getting motivated to make it to our last day of school. Due to having a later lunch, my students are often hungry by mid-morning. Students learn best when their basic needs are met and these snacks will allow me to keep them focused and energized until lunch. I have requested Scooby Snacks, fruit snacks, and Rice Krispies to get us to the end of the year. I have also requested classroom prizes like mochis, pop rocks, ring pops, and fidgets that will also help to keep them motivated.
Hard work should be rewarded, and my students have definitely earned a little end-of-year fun.
I am asking for the supplies (tie-dye kits and tshirts) to allow each of my students to tie dye their own shirts. This will act as a motivation for my students to keep working toward their goals during these final weeks of school and allow us to celebrate all of their hard work paying off.
