Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschool students need pretend play food for the Dramatic Play center. The Super Sorting Pie and the Smart Snacks Rainbow Color Cones will provide many opportunities for students to talk about colors during their socio-dramatic play. Having a variety of pretend foods, like the Fresh Fruit Salad Set and the A to Z Alphabet Groceries will help me to teach them about health and nutrition as they pretend to cook and serve meals.

Socio-dramatic play is an important part of early childhood education.

Giving my students these tools will help them help them to engage in pretend play with their peers around a shared idea.

I envision my students scribbling menus and recipes, sorting by color and kind, and developing their language and social skills as they play together.
