Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is a group of very diverse students who come from all over the world: the Dominican Republic, Laos, Israel, France, Austria, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Germany, etc. Together, we have created a happy classroom environment. They are your typical Kindergartners, motivated to learn and yearning for knowledge. They have been admitted to my Dual Language so that they continue to learn in both languages, Spanish and English. Exploring the curriculum in both languages is a challenge that we approach with rigor!
My Project
One of the main items in this cart will be used to make our Sand and Water Learning Center more fun and engaging. Included in this order are also incentives such as prizes and stickers.
There are also art materials as well to provide students with opportunities to do creative arts such as painting, sculpting, cutting, etc.
to help strengthen students' fine motor skills as well as language and social skills.
Having these learning materials will allow my students to have resources and some exposure to the arts and science
