This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of 18 energetic, eager to learn 4 year olds. Four year olds learn by doing. That is why it is so important for children at this age to be given a wide variety of learning materials to explore and engage with. For this project, “Let’s Discover How Much Fun It Is To Learn,” I am asking for a discovery magnetic board and puzzles of animals up close. The magnetic board will make a difference in my students' learning by showing them different objects, helping them learn new vocabulary and getting a hands-on experience in learning what objects are and are not magnetic. The puzzles will help my students as they build their fine motor skills and problem solving skills. They will also be learning about the characteristics of different animals at the same time and what makes certain animals similar and different. Please help me give my students more opportunities to learn through exploration by donating to this class project.
