Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A group of 18 students from different cultural, social, and personal backgrounds are awaiting to explore the world and decode all the messages that are hidden in their surroundings, but to do that, they need to train their superpowers and they will do it with your support.
What are their superpowers?
The skills hidden in their brains. They are superheroes trying to train their personal and social values, along with their math and literacy skills every day, but sometimes these are hard to practice, especially when they are not getting special tools that will help them to achieve their specific goals based on their individual needs.
This is how our first graders will take advantage of the supplies they will get, as I (the superheroes' coach) will create the materials needed to differentiate the instruction (including our special education students) to engage students in unique experiences that will give them the possibility to show their potentials and to learn different concepts in a hands-on environment, along with their superheroes binder that will be helpful for them to measure their own progress and to be empowered.
