Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Cary Elementary is a learning community focused on the success of every child. We are a school with 45.4% free and reduced lunch and a population that is 15.3% limited English proficient.

Through collaboration and teamwork, we support and challenge our diverse population, engaging students with learning tools and opportunities that enable them to become 21st century learners and responsible citizens.
My students love using technology and are very excited about coding. My students need to keep up with the latest in technology and science.
The Dot and Dash robot wonder pack and the card box set will expose my students to the language of coding. Dash and dot will teach my students early coding skills that they can later use, making them college and career ready. Giving my students the resources they need will help them stay motivated and engaged while learning.
My Project
My students need to keep up with the latest in technology and science. By implementing the language of coding, my students will begin to see themselves as innovators for the future.
Our students love using block coding, which develops problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
The Dot and Dash robot wonder pack and the card box set will expose my technology students to the language of coding. These robots will enhance our skills in collaborating and communicating to solve problems and learn in a fun and engaging way.
The funding of this project will help me to teach our students about computer science and make them college and career ready.
