This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are three years old. They are eager to learn, explore, try new things and create. They are very excited about the Art Center and exploring the art materials. They love to color, paint, cut and glue and use their imaginations.
My Project
PreK 3 is a play based approach to learning. The classroom and its materials are a second teacher. The students have two hours and twenty minutes of Center Time a day where they can move through the different centers. This is their time to explore, discover and create.
An art easel with drying rack will allow my students to explore art through different colors and types of paint as well as a variety of painting tools.
They can hang their own paper and then transfer their painting to the drying rack.
