My Students

Let's create a Memory Book that will last a lifetime!

My students travel an hour each way to and from school every day.

Most of them are from economically disadvantaged families. They enjoy doing art because it allows them to express themselves in a positive manner. They will be able create a memory book that will last a lifetime.

My Project

My students will complete a monthly narrative writing assignment that will explain and describe their experiences throughout second grade. Each assignment will be coupled with an art project that will be included in their Memory Book. They will make good use of these requested materials. The requested materials are colored pencils, erasers, markers, and a quality pencil sharpener.

My students will make good use of these materials as they each complete a Memory Book of their second grade school year.

Most of my students come from areas where they do not experience the happiness and positivity that this Memory Book will bring to their lives.
